This is an adapter is for connecting internal storage devices that require 15 pin SATA power connectors to Power supplies that only have 4 pin molex power connectors. i.e. YOUR DRIVE IS A NEWER SATA, BUT YOUR COMPUTER IS AN OLDER ONE WITH MOLEX.
Warning: Molex connector provide 12V and 5V power lines, but not 3.3V required by some SATA drives. Make sure your drive does not require a 3.3V power connection before purchasing this adapter |

| i ordered a modbo 4.0 for my old ps2, i live in the uk and it took 9 days which is more than acceptable. installed it yesterday in my v7, at first it didnt work because the ground wire on the diagram wasnt providing enough power plus the point y was wrong too so it wouldnt detect the correct media, but when i corrected these two points the chip was up and running like a charm on all my psx-and ps2 backups.... thanks modchipcentral. il do business without any doubt in the future. thanks again...dave.. |
